About Wanda

I am a Survivor of domestic violence. My name is Dr. Wanda R.W. McKinley, and I went through over 22 consecutive years of abuse. When we go through traumatic experiences in our lives, we sometimes find it hard to express our feelings and thoughts to others. Those trapped emotions eventually find their way to the surface and causes us to react in negative ways. Being a Survivor I understand the importance of being able to express yourself even if it is not verbally. I want to help individuals transition from abusive situations to being self-sufficient in society. The vision is to empower men and women so they can and will survive.
