About Robert

I am eclectic in my therapy approach collaborating with each client to achieve their goals. Generally I emphasize cognitive and behavioral techniques combined with sufficient psychodynamic understanding of our personality functioning. I work with alternative techniques, including hypnosis.

I am known for my optimistic energy and engaging, nurturing style. I look into each client to see excitement rather than anxiety, adventure rather than apprehension, vitality rather than drudgery, empowerment rather that loss of control, courage and strength rather than pain. I advocate trying something new, breaking the old patterns that continue to produce the unwanted consequences.
