About Michael

Michael D. Milson, originally from North Yorkshire, UK, moved to Southeast Michigan in 2005 and since 2014 has built a robust career as a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Master Practitioner of NLP, Reiki Master‑Teacher, and Life Coach. He founded the Michigan Hypnosis Institute in 2019, where he leads both client sessions and comprehensive training programs in hypnosis and NLP. With over 3,000 hours of training—including an AOS in Mind‑Body Psychology and a Clinical Hypnotherapy diploma, both with honors from Hypnosis Motivation Institute—Michael is the first in Michigan to complete the full two‑year curriculum at HMI. He specializes in helping clients overcome smoking, weight challenges, fears, confidence issues, and more through tailored hypno-coaching, EFT, and mind–body techniques. Beyond clinical practice, he trains aspiring practitioners at MHI, combining hands-on learning with empathy and warmth to cultivate skilled, client-focused professionals.
