About Diane

I am a registered Hypnotherapist with certification from Bellingham Technical College. I also have over 250 class hours of training in CranioSacral Therapy, a body-centered approach to working with the subconscious mind. I have an MFA in Creative Writing, and a BA in Literature with minors in both Biology and Anthropology. I am the co-author of Uncomfortable, a book about out-of-the-comfort-zone experiences. I have studied the healing arts since 2010 and have been an English Instructor at Everett Community College since 2000. My background in the language arts gives me unique skills in Hypnotherapy by working with your inner characters, symbols, metaphors, narratives, ​​and use of language. Client Services I specialize in helping people reduce anxiety/stress to improve their experience in birthing, chronic pain, conception, daily life tasks, eating habits, end of life transition, illness, injuries, overcoming addictive behaviors, postpartum stress, pre- and post-op stress​​​​​​​, public speaking, sports performance, talent/career performance​​​, and more. I am the creator of "Hypnotic Childbirth," an online class offered through Bellingham Technical College designed to help women overcome fear of childbirth. I love helping people find the tools they have within themselves to overcome an obstacle or accomplish a goal.
