About Bruce

In my early twenties, I worked as a volunteer counselor in a Free Clinic. There I learned that when someone has suffered emotional trauma they need gentleness and kindness before anything else. From those experiences and more I decided that my professional mission is to act as a change agent and a peacemaker. To accomplish this I have extensive training in treating anxiety, trauma, depression, post traumatic stress, and addictions. I also taught at the college level. For more than 25 years I have studied and taken specialized training in the intersection of psychology, spirituality and holistic approaches to mental health.
