About Paula

Paula Getty-Shearer is an honors graduate of HMI and has a successful private practice in Chatsworth, California. She specializes in working with illness, surgery preparation and pain control.Paula has extensive personal experience working with cancer patients, their family members and end of life issues through her work with Hospice of the Conejo. She is also a facilitator at the Wellness Community teaching relaxation and imagery. She has a deep sense of compassion and understanding for others along with a strong sense of commitment to assisting her clients through these life passages.Paula also specializes in sports performance and helping others achieve the optimum in intellectual achievement and personal growth. An elite athlete in high school and college, as well as a distinguished member of the Ventura County Sports Hall of Fame, she has the knowledge and the ability to help others achieve the pinnacle of performance that they desire in their lives.Paula enjoys speaking to others about the many ways hypnosis can improve quality of life on all levels. She has worked with clients on a variety of concerns, including stress reduction,test anxiety, habit modification, fears and phobias, motivation, as well as self confidence and self esteem.
