About Patrick

I was born in Oklahoma and grew up in Wichita, Kansas. I was the youngest of three adopted children. I went to Catholic School from 5th grade through High School, then on to college where I studied business administration and accounting.After graduation, I found my way to the Benedictine Monastery at Subiaco, Arkansas, where I lived as a Monk for about 3 years. I made the decision to leave and moved to Kansas City, Missouri, where I worked for Bank of America for many years. While there, I decided to obtain a second Bachelor’s Degree, this time in Social Psychology at Park University, graduating with distinction.A few years after graduation from Park University, I met my wife online and began a long-distance relationship, eventually marrying her in 2004, and we are still married having celebrated 21 years of marriage last March.My curiosity about hypnosis and the subconscious mind began after reading Joseph Murphy's book, The Power of Your Subconscious Mind. Years later, while leading meditation as a youth minister, I realized how closely it aligned with hypnosis—a connection that led me back to the Hypnosis Motivation Institute, which I’d discovered decades before. I graduated with High Honors and am now proud to serve as a Certified Hypnotherapist.I am also an avid model train enthusiast, love dogs and cats, world traveler (four continents and counting), love learning Spanish in my part-time, taking long meditative walks and hikes, and spending time with family and friends.
