About Mikaila

Mikaila Henderson's journey to becoming a hypnotherapist was truly a life changing experience. She had just begun her doctorate in Forensic Psychology in 2005 when she was diagnosed with an incurable lymphoma. This diagnosis took her into the realm of alternative medicine and the world of the healing arts. She incorporated what she learned which included hypnosis and meditation along with conventional medicine to treat her cancer. She was cancer free within eight months.Mikaila has always been a good listener to those around her, but during her own cancer experience she was able to recognize the fear in her life and put it aside to listen to her inner voice. This has given her a special ability to listen to her clients beyond their words, and because of her life experiences she can empathize with any client who walks through her door. Mikaila believes in her work because of the difference it made in her life and loves the joy it brings to her clients. She is grateful to learn just as much from her clients as they learn from her and looks forward to continuing her education in the healing arts throughout her life.
