About Katelyn

I am a Certified Hypnotherapist in Los Angeles, California, providing hypnotherapy services to clients all over the world through Zoom, or in-person in Los Angeles. I have been certified as a Certified Hypnotherapist by the American Hypnosis Association, and am an Honors Graduate from HMI College of Hypnotherapy.Before becoming a hypnotherapist, I worked many years as a professional musician and an online marketing strategist. Truth be told, both music and marketing are forms of hypnosis, but I was drawn to hypnotherapy out of a desire to give back and provide a service that would help people to better their lives. Showing people that they can take control of the obstacles before them, and teaching my clients how to create meaningful change is very rewarding for me.I was also a competitive athlete and an avid runner with a history of running ultra-marathons up to 100 miles in length, and hypnosis is a great way to improve sports performance. Understanding that hypnosis is a natural state that we enter many times throughout the day has driven me to understand more about this powerful tool, and to help others apply it to achieve their goals.I was drawn to this work by believing in the simple concept that any long-lasting change you seek must begin with a change in the mind. By changing how we perceive our stories, we change the way we exist in them, and at its root, hypnotherapy is remapping thoughts and beliefs so we may experience life in a more positive way. My practice is grounded in scientifically supported hypnotherapy techniques and my hope is to help you find a process that works for you while addressing any skepticism you may have.
