About Grace Nani

Grace Nani Urie has a deep passion for helping people discover the best within themselves, and finding greater joy in their life's journey. This passion became even more deeply embedded in her when in 2007 she was diagnosed with breast cancer.Believing that there were many ways to heal the body, mind, and spirit, she met often with her naturopath, used several different modalities including homeopathy, diet and nutrition, herbal supplements, meditation, and prayer, and surprised her doctors by her rapid healing. This experience confirmed her long held belief that the subconscious mind is capable of much more than we usually give it credit for.Nani was introduced in 2010 to essential oils and their benefit to our physical and emotional health. She found a great deal of satisfaction helping friends and family members achieve a healthy, positive experience with pregnancy, labor and childbirth by using essential oils combined with guided imagery.She was "hooked" from the very first Foundations of Hypnotherapy class that HMI offered! Nani knew instinctively that this was a perfect fit and the direction she wanted to take professionally. After completing the foundations classes in July 2013, she immediately enrolled in the Advanced Training Course and received her diploma and certificate of graduation in September 2014.Along the way she practiced and used her hypnotherapy skills to help family members and friends with exam anxieties, general anxiety and stress management, fears and phobias, childbirth, and weight loss and management. She began her own private practice in June 2015, and experiences some of her happiest moments watching her clients become empowered, confident and happy!
