About Carol Thorne

Carol is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Therapeutic Imagery Master, Certified Yoga Instructor, Social-Emotional Learning Facilitator, and a trained facilitator for the highly respected parent program “Parenting with Love and Logic™.”A Credentialed California School Psychologist for over 25 years, Carol’s work with students, parents and educators led her to question if there wasn’t something more she could do for her community, to help with the significant increase in self-reported feelings of anxiety, unhappiness, and stress related symptoms.As a mother of four, and stepmother of two, Carol has experienced her share of unexpected life and career changes, family medical challenges and family loss. Always curious and in search of that “something more” to help better manage emotions, stay positive about the future, and share that knowledge with others, Carol has spent many years pursing professional continuing education programs. From cognitive behavioral therapy to trauma informed counseling care – from parenting programs to social-emotional learning strategies – from yoga to other mindfulness activities, all have added so much to her professional and personal growth.But with her clients, Carol has personally witnessed that no one intervention has had the same level of impact as Hypnotherapy. It was Carol’s realization that Hypnotherapy was the missing puzzle piece for true growth and transformation, that inspired her private practice working with clients who simply want to feel better about their life, their career and their future.
