About Brenda

Brenda Strong, Certified Hypnotherapist and an Honors Graduate from HMI. She utilizes the healing modalities of Hypnotherapy and Reiki to assist her clients in Tyler, Texas.Brenda began her professional career earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of North Dakota. After many years working as a Process Controls Engineer, Brenda quit the corporate world. The next phase of her life began with earning the title of Master Gardener in Bedford County, Virginia. In 2002, Brenda began her Reiki journey after a tragic "bump in the road" served as a spiritual wake-up call.Brenda is a certified Usui / Holy Fire III Reiki Master and Holy Fire Karuna Reiki Master through the International Center for Reiki Training and has also completed a number of Rainbow Reiki courses through Rainbow Reiki USA. Brenda has received a Master of Science in Parapsychic Science degree from the American Institute of Holistic Theology in Birmingham, Alabama. She has trained with well-known authors and animal communicators Carol Gurney, Karen Wrigley and Patty Summers to hone her animal communication skills.Shortly after establishing her Reiki practice in Tyler, Texas, Brenda, a perennial student, received a nudge to investigate hypnotherapy. She quickly saw the many potential benefits that her Reiki clients could experience with hypnotherapy. Now a Certified Hypnotherapist, Brenda continues to study, practice and employ all the techniques and tools she has learned through HMI and her spiritual journey of studies for the benefit of her clients.
