About Arren

I attended University of Washington School of Social Work, I have been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (mindfulness and values focused),Hypnotherapy, and I am currently learning Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.I love working with people that are excited about the work of getting to know themselves better. You love to sit with, analyze and reflect on the patterns that you've been noticing, and you want to change things for yourself. Maybe you've experienced religious trauma, or you're a queer or trans person that grew up with a conservative family. Or relationship issues are in the way. As a social worker, I believe it is important to name systemic oppressions, such as racism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, classism, capitalism and the ways they intersect in order to acknowledge the harm we continue to experience daily.
